On Visibility, Creative Labour and Wales' Creative Infrastructure
This entry preserves the original campaign material issued alongside the conversation — shown here as primary documentation, alongside the interview in full.
"Cardiff doesn't need another WhatsApp group chat, another Instagram page, or another panel talk. We need space.
We need actual spaces where creatives can work, film, shoot, record, host events and build properly.
There is talent here, but the question is where the money is going, because the support and infrastructure just isn't there in the way it needs to be."

"I felt like I did so much and invested so much time, but I didn't get the outside validation in the way other people did.
I didn't want to just be seen as someone's assistant, or the person carrying bags and packing up after events.
I wanted to be known for what I do: as a photographer, a videographer, and someone creating really cool projects."

"I agree the people that come before us do have a responsibility... and I get it, they've been dealing with a lot throughout their careers.
But things are never going to change if you don't advocate with the knowledge you have and support the people coming after you.
That's how progress is actually made."
