On Artistry, Motherhood and Navigating Wales' Music Scene

This entry preserves the original campaign material issued alongside the conversation — shown here as primary documentation, alongside the interview in full.

On Motherhood, Artistry & Capacity

"Mothers are highly unsupported...I haven't had sleep for like the last three months... he's teething, learning to crawl, so I've been awake all day, all night.

And being a musician is not cheap... having space to experiment freely is what allowed me to find a sound I'm proud of."

On Conditional Visibility

"They have events for white crowds, to please white people... they don't want to diversify.

They just put one or two [black acts] in the lineup so they can't be told they haven't included anybody.

It's sad. They need to change that drastically... but do they actually want it to be changed?"

On Hustle, Sanity & Sustainability

"The most important thing I want to protect is my peace of mind.

I've lived very unsustainably before. I've been on overdrive for months, and when it crashes, it crashes badly.

I'm learning that I can be consistent without killing myself in the process."
